Andy is…

Andy is a professional and creative french-toast loving 40 year old living in Cambridge with his wife, two children and two cats (plus fish). He has fifteen years of full time success as a designer in the marketing industry, with ten years in Senior and award-winning Art Director roles.

Graduating from York University in 2001, Andy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Major in Visual Art (Honours). His art career began shortly after university as a gallery artist and photographer, with work included in showcases around the GTA. His photography and paintings are currently licensed for specialty reproductions from WT Designs, a national fine art reproduction house.

As a history and culture buff, Andy also pursued a minor university degree in art history and archaeology. He became one of the only third year students in 2000 to be accepted exclusively into fourth-year programming for history. His work and grades earned him a spot on the Dean’s Honour List in his graduating year, 2001.

So what brought this fine artist into the world of graphic design? In between art shows and gigs, Andy worked as a freelance designer. With growing advancements in technology and media, he decided to dive deeper into what could be done using text, art and computers. This is what guides most of his direction and design sense – a clean aesthetic with clear, creative messaging.

With is in-depth experience in visual art, graphic design, publishing, producing and directing, Andy would make a great asset to any company. Whether the position calls for leading a team or department, working within a group dynamic, or sole responsibility for individual projects, contact Andy today!
