Did You Know?

Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an Honours Major in Visual Art, Andy is also an ancient history and culture enthusiast (ironically, he watches way too much sci-fi). He holds a minor degree in Art History and Archaeology, becoming one of the only third-year York University students to be accepted exclusively into fourth-year programming. Andy also loves French toast (the breakfast dish, not the outdated BlackBerry operating system).

Here are a few more facts about Andy that may intrigue you:

AWARD-WINNING

Andy’s design work and art direction has earned him nine international industry awards, as well as several nominations. This includes a shortlisted Juno Award Nomination for “Best Package Design”.

SEEING DOUBLE

Andy has a twin brother. He (Andy) also has a scar on his right hip – some say the scar is from a bone marrow graft, while others say the placement of it on the right side means Andy is “the left twin” – the evil one.

FOR ART’S SAKE

Andy always had (and still does hold) a love for drawing, painting and photography. His visual art has been featured in gallery shows, and is currently licensed by a national reproduction house.

FOR ALL

No matter where we are from, what language we speak, what culture we connect with, what we look like, who we love or how we identify – as long as we are good to each other – that is all that matters.

Testimonial

Andy possesses all the qualities you look for in someone on your marketing team. He is accountable. He understands the big picture, or how business goals guide design projects and deliverables. Andy works very well with others and supports the goals of his colleagues. Above all, Andy has a great attitude and would be a great fit on any team.

Communication & Collaboration

Of all the different relationships that exist (and of all the ones that are yet to be discovered!) a healthy work-relationship is one of the most important. How can we get there? If we’re communicating regularly, and respectfully, then we’re already there.
